The Copperas Cove Freshmen A team started off the 2021 calendar year with a 57-49 district 12-6A victory over the Belton Tigers Tuesday night. The Bulldawgs were hot from the 3 point line in the first half which led to a 34-22 halftime lead for Cove. The Dawgs outscored the Tigers in the third quarter 10-8
The Lady Dawgs traveled to Belton on Jan 5th to face Belton. This would be the first game for Cove in the New Year of 2021. Both teams struggled early finding the basket but the visiting Lady Dawgs would hold the lead 7-4. Cove would come out and lock down Belton in the 2nd quarter
