The Copperas Cove Men’s JV Basketball team lost a tough battle vs Shoemaker by a score of 62-52 on Tuesday night. The Dawgs and Grey Wolves went back and forth for most of the game but Shoemaker was able to pull away late in the 4th quarter and hung on for the 10 point victory.
The Copperas Cove Men’s Freshmen Basketball team lost a tough physical battle vs Killeen Shoemaker 61-55 on Tuesday night. Xavier Wilcox was fantastic for the Dawgs scoring 24 points keeping Cove in the game. Khordarrius Wilson had a solid night as well scoring 14 points for Cove. The Copperas Cove men’s varsity basketball team had a thrilling 76-73 comeback victory over Killeen Shoemaker last night on the road in what was a huge 12-6A win for the Bulldawgs. The Dawgs struggled early in the game to find a rhythm offensively as Shoemaker took a 35-21 lead into the locker room at halftime.
