LadyDawg JV vs Stony Point

LadyDawg JV won against Round Rock Stony Point 50-28 in the Pflugerville Tournament. Scoring was lead by Gracey Wyss who scored 13 points and added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Ta’shayla Marrie added 10 points and lead defensively with 10 steals for another double-double. Yvonna Drayton added 8 points and 8 rebounds.

LadyDawg JV defeated Belton 45-26. Jade Chapman lead scoring with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Alaura Gallups added 8 points. Leyre Matellanos lead the defensive pressure with 6 steals.

Both Freshman Teams fall to Lake Travis

After a strong tournament finish, the Dawgs Freshman returned to action Monday morning against Lake Travis.  The Cavaliers proved to be too much for both groups to overcome.  The Freshman A team was a close game throughout with Travis running a solid offense and Coves high powered defensive effort providing a counter and transition baskets. 

Cove Boys Junior Varsity Falls to Lake Travis 35-64
